The IEC61850 protocol converter is a new generation of automation equipment developed for power automation and communication operation requirements, combined with the functional architecture of future digital power grid technology. It can meet the access requirements and communication management of various interfaces of current and future intelligent devices such as Gigabit Ethernet, RS485, CAN, and provide a unified communication platform for the backend (master station/dispatch).
Specially designed for digital substations, supporting IEC61850 and IEEE1588, all devices without built-in IEC61850 protocol, such as microcomputer protection, measurement and control devices, multifunctional instruments, etc., can be connected to their respective protocols and converted into IEC61850 protocol for the comprehensive automation system of the substation.
